The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar bin Mohamed Gargash has met with the President of the World Economic Forum, Borge Brende in New York on the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly.
Over the course of the meeting, they talked about how the UAE government can cooperate in the future with the forum. They also talked about developing other joint projects.
Dr. Anwar bin Mohamed Gargash emphasized that the United Arab Emirates is dedicated to improving the strategic ties with the World Economic Forum in any areas of common concern in the future.
He also complimented the cooperation ties with the WEF. He also mentioned that these ties are on an upward trend.
Borge Brende praised the experience of the UAE along with its achievements in various development fields. He also mentioned that that the UAE possesses a clear-cut vision when it comes to the future. It ensures the development of best practices in different vital sectors. In fact, UAE has become an international model that should be followed when it comes to development.
